World cup Sharks

The most inspiring Sharks out in the fields of France have surely been the Argentine Lobbe brothers, who have seen their team's international ranking rise to 4th in the world. They are also in the knock out stages of the World Cup for the first time, and have a (relatively) easy quarter final.

They stand to face Scotland, containing another star of the tournament Rory Lamont, who will play for Sale when the Cup is over. The Scots team also includes Scott Lawson and, of course, Jason White.

Another quarter final withe great Sharks interest will be France v New Zealand - surely the most eagerly anticipated meeting of the lot. France will certainly see the worlds favourite rugby player Sebasiten Chabal take to the field. Sale team mate Bruno, however, seems out of favour, and might be lucky to get a bench spot.

New Sharks star signing Luke McAllister will be lining up at 12 for the All Blacks if recent selections are anything to go by.

The other Sharks in action will be playing for England: Andy Sherridan, Mark Cueto and Jason Robinson should all be picked to face South Africa, if fit.
