Rugby roundup

A mixed bag of results over the long weekend for Sale fans.

It all kicked off with a ridiculously early Thursday Game for the Sharks against Montpellier, in which they struggled with a heavy wind for 40 minutes and then spent the rest of the game destroying their visitors - tries from Hodgson, Chabal, Hanley, Mayor and two from Wigglesworth (and a "try that never was" from Foden). Bang! A bonus point victory on the road to a European Cup. 49-6

Sale FC had a harder time of it though, away to Wilmslow, where they lost their match 21-8.

Monday night saw the Jets fly off to Northampton, where they got a hard time on the pitch too, losing 32-10 despite a try after just two minutes from flying winger Selorm Kuadey.

More wins please.
